Death Walrus Studios makes small games and tries to collect as little as possible. This page covers this website and HOTYB, and links to the Gulp! policy.

This website (deathwalrus.com)

• No accounts, no cookies, no ads, no analytics.
• The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic request data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site.
• Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
• If you email us, we use your email only to reply.

HOTYB (Hold On To Your Butts)

• Your survivor name is whatever you type in. Other players in the same park can see it. There are no accounts.
• Saved in your browser: your survivor name, character and gear picks, progress (amber and upgrades), and a random session ID so you can rejoin a game in progress. This stays in your browser's local storage. Clear your site data to erase it.
• Anonymous gameplay stats: to balance the game we log events like starting a run, finishing a level and how a run ended, with a random per-visit ID, whether you're on touch or mouse, and your screen size. These don't include your survivor name. They are kept in our Cloudflare logs.
• Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected: if your browser sends either signal, no gameplay stats are sent.
• The game is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic request data such as your IP address to run multiplayer games. Fonts load from Google Fonts.

Gulp! Soda Shop Simulator

Gulp! does not collect any personal information. Read the full policy at gulpsodashop.com/privacy.

Children

Our games are made for everyone and none of them ask for personal information. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
